Selling IOs

Okay a bit of a silly question:
I am working on my invention badges and was wondering how you can "get rid of" IOs. What I can up with were:
1) Use myself
2) Place in SG storage
3) Sell on market
4) Give away

Are there any others? I don't think I've seen a vendor who will buy them.

you are missing just one:

5) delete

Certain level 10s especially are not worth a storage slot, or placing on the market. If there is a bid I'll list them for 1, if not its straight to the trash.

I've put stuff on the market for 1, with the sole purpose of moving it, to get the market badges!

It also helps to take a little time to figure out which is better to make. For example, I think it's cheaper to make knockback IOs instead of Damage IOs (I haven't checked in awhile). But you are almost certainly able to sell Damage IOs at any level, often for a profit, while very few people will buy KB IOs.

I also try to clear out SG storage by filling up my enhancement slots before doing a respec and selling them back that way. At least you get back crafting costs for all those superfluous level 10 IOs.

Since I have a lot of vetspecs, if I decide to burn one on a relatively poor lowbie, it does give them some cash back - and I just hate to waste them (my grandmother raised me to hate "wasting stuff".)

Thanks for all the answer. Guess I actually had it figured out right after all.
