Just to clarify, they are STILL on their trial accounts and are ready to buy the game. I just want to make sure I get the credit for them coming over without them having to change their Username. Heh.

If they buy within three months (and upgrade their trial, not create new) you should get the credit.

Did you go through the refer a friend feature through your master account that sent them a code via email? If so, then as long as they upgrade their account to a regular account, then you should get credit via the normal procedures. How much time is it--- 1 or 2 months of paid time on their side before you get credit?
If they just went to the site and got a trial account, then you are SOL.
Oh that part I know, the issue is that they all just jumped on and got trial accounts. I want to make sure I get credit for them even though they didn't get the account by responding to a "suggest a friend" invite.
Nope, if you didn't email them the code then there is no way for the GMs to know that you referred them.
You could say it all day long, but saying it and proving it are 2 different things.
Edit: I believe you really did refer them to the game, but the GMs are not as likely to be as trusting as I am when it comes to giving game time away.

You may be out of luck. Unless they got their trial codes from the "refer a friend" feature, there's no link between them and you.
Kinda sucks, but at least you'll be have some quality teammates in the future!
I've introduced a bunch of people to this game, at least 4 people into 3+ year vets. No refer-a-friend time credit. Either it didn't exist, or I didn't know about it at the time.

So the only chance of me getting the free month is for them to delete their characters, create a new account with my refer-a-friend link, and then recreate the characters?
That sucks... hope I can get them to do it.
What do you guys think the odds of the GMs deleting the account names so they can get those back?

Well, I opened up a ticket so perhaps I will get lucky. If all else fails I know two of them will remake their account to help me out.
Do you mean their global names? If they are gonna redo their trial with the refer a friend code----> Just have them rename their global handle before their original trial expires and delete those toons so they can get back the names if they are attached to them by now.
I just suggested the City to about 5 of my friends and once they touched the game they all decided they wanted to buy the game when their trial is over, none of them have bought the game yet and I'm wondering if I can still get credit for all of them for the Refer a Friend feature.
