[QR] I've been looking for another game for awhile, but nothing really held my interest. Aion isn't exactly what I want, but there are far worse choices out there and I think I can enjoy it for a while. Not thrilled with the skill design, but then a fully usable 3D skill setup isn't the norm for games these days.
But COH no longer holds the torch for me it once did, so I figure now is the time. My account will still be active up to next April, but other than day job switching or the rare SG team up, not likely to be on. Even 2x Exp isn't enough to make me miss the next Aion beta test.
I've enjoyed playing my Elyos Mage and got him to 8.5 and before that played Asmodian Scout long enough to get her to Ranger and a little beyond. Kinda disappointed that Scout doesn't have ranged options before becoming a Ranger. Basically the scout is a mini-assassin until you get the choice to become the Ranger or a full-assassin. Seems kinda weird to me, but other than that have enjoyed it so far.
Can't wait until next beta.
Anyone know how to order the Collector's Edition? I was thinking of giving this a try but the NCSoft store won't let me buy it....some kind of Serial Code error...I'm confuzzled.
after foolishly going to gamestop to buy the Coll Ed and being told that they were out of pre orders for it completely i bought it off their website when i suppose i shoulda went to bestbuy cuz they still had Coll Ed available here 
Last I was reading the collectors ed was pretty much sold out or pretty close to it, if you buy it from the NCSoft store your not gonna get the goodies as you would buying it and picking it from a actual store...
I ordered the Collector's Ed from best Buy.com. It says it'll ship 1 Sep 2009, but I haven't seen any way to get the code I need for the beta 
you accually I believe have to go to the store for that, id call and find out cause alot of folks on the Aion boards said they had to call or GO to the store
I got mine from the NCSoft store so it was automaticly applied but I don't get a CD and pretty box
I was just to excited about the game to wait til hubby got home from work
i ordered mine from gamestop.com and i got an email that had my beta code to apply to my account so hopefully thats gonna be the case for ya Urth

Sony might still have the package where you can upgrade to a prem player and have access to all there games, I did that when I played EQ2 back in the day (after ED hit on COH) I played SWG mostly dancing cause I was a dancer, and got 4 more character slots on my EQ2 account tweaked around on other games too but mainly stuck with EQ2
I would of went back to EQ2 if i didn't have to play for all the expacs to my orginal account, but no need now i am really loving Aion, recently ran into a eq2 couple I hubby and I used to team with alot and invited us to the guild that we where in with eq2 it was alot of fun, nice to have a buncha friends come over from coh and meet new friends and long lost friends from other mmo's
