The LaserJesus arc thread
Changed the Death Shamans in Holding Down the Fort to Avalanche Shamans. While I feel like their powers could get pretty rough for low level characters, it's less rough than level 20 zombies. Oh by the way, Death Shamans aren't downleveling properly in regards to their summons.
Back from 4 month hiatus! Oh god please tell me if you found anything broken in my missions while I was away. Broken arcs are the worst thing ever.
I updated Made to Wave the Flag (finally), adding in stuff that had to be cut to make it publishable way back before the increase in the size limit. It's mainly flavor stuff, but any feedback on the changes is appreciated! Or, if you've never played it, come on man! What are you waiting for?
Woo! WB LJ, been a while since I've seen ya here
In case you didn't know, your arc "Drakule vs. the Werewolf Bikers from Hell" is probably going to be the next TGiMAT featured story. That is, if they keep true to form and continue playing straight down the list of posted arcs to play.
Hope it goes well for ya!
Craft your inventions in AE!!

Play "Crafter's Cafe" - Arc #487283. A 1 mission, NON-COMBAT AE arc with workable invention tables!
Hmm. Well, I should probably go in and make sure that arc is working properly, then.
Couple small changes to Drakule vs. The Werewolf Bikers From Hell. Nothing major beyond adding a female Drakule Raver custom NPC and fixing up small bits of Doctor Von Heksung's dialogue to make it a bit more clear.
This is the review where I say that pretty much every problem you have is valid. It should be noted that despite the higher arc number, this is the first arc I wrote, back in beta. It's had a few revisions, but nothing incredibly major. My proficiency with AE has grown considerably since then, and there are many more tools available to me now. I wrote the arc because I figured when AE was first announced that it would be the hardest concept to pull off (at least that I could think of, in making Made to Wave the Flag I discovered I was horribly wrong) and I was pretty much proven right, considering the usual distaste for mind control and contact betrayal stories. Honestly the fact that I still got 3 stars considering the incendiary premise and how anciend by AE standards the arc is surprises me. In a pleasant way.
I'm not opposed to mind control or contact betrayal, at least not on principle. Frankly the betrayal in itself was reasonable, but mind control, particularly when it also scrambles your perceptions, is very tough to write your way out of.
