Excellent suggestion about Oroboros and relearning a toon. There are a few old characters I've dusted off that I should have used that approach on to reaquaint myself with them.

I'm planning on putting it on the wiki, although I'm also pondering doing so with an expansion to a full guide for new players in general, sort of "the manual that should have come with the game", with the AE-recovery stuff as a sideline and appendix.
