Odd Issues since HDD crash
Doing a fresh install, I guess you have downloaded new drivers as well. There are at least a known issue with Vista and the Nvidia 186.x driver.
I recommend that you post a COH helper output.
OK, here's the COH Helper output.

Try rolling the video driver back one or two versions. As panthera said there are problems with the latest driver and some systems.
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!
Yep, you have an nVidia card and the 186.18 drivers. Known cause of problems.
You can get the 32-bit version of the 185.85 drivers here.
Also, use Windows Update to get Service Pack 2 for Vista.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
My harddrive crashed about a week ago, and had to be replaced, so everything on my computer was freshly reinstalled. Since it happened, I've been having a couple weird issues with CoH that I didn't have before. One is that if I'm playing CoH, and alt+tab to another screen, when I come back the graphics in CoH are frozen. I can still move around, and can hear my character run/jump whatever, but the screen image is frozen. Alt+tabbing back to another window and back to CoH a second time always fixes it. The other issue is that for some reason, when playing CoH, if I alt+tab to another screen, it turns off the windows Aero features. Anyone ever run into anything like this before?
