Yep. Bought my first block of five slots earlier this week cuz I used up all the free ones I've earned over the years. It's quite liberating.

I'm now waiting for them to increase the max count per server to more than 36

I've tried other servers, and Freedom is home for me. Maybe if a group of people I play with here were on another server and played regularly there, I would give it a shot. But for now, it was just too lonely on the other servers for me not having a group of players I already knew.

I've been on "Super Teams" on other servers, but those ALWAYS fizzle out quickly.

So for now, I wait for the ability to buy even more slots on Freedom, and continue to level the toons I have. I'm keeping one slot open, just in case something new and fantastic comes along.

If, however, Going Rogue -or- Issue 16 does not increase the number per server, I'll probably break down and start a second account. I just don't want to have to start all over again with vet rewards

Freedom's my home, too. I look into Virtue every now and again to test out powersets... but the other servers are just where I mess about with making "cool suits."

Vet rewards: gah. Yah. Glad I opened a second account a year or so back when I was thinking about thinking about returning! Mad (my own fault) about the main account... I'm missing about one and a half to two years of rewards due to... well, not payin'.

But, Freedom's Prime from when only Prime existed. Can't image "living" anywhere else.

FYI: You can buy the slots in-game. Login to COH, pick your server, and on the character list, click on the "Store" icon. You'll see your options there. Buy the server slot five-pack for $20, it'll get credited to the CC you have assigned to your CoX subscription.

*facepalm* You kids. You don't appreciate what you have. Back in my day, you just had eight slots per server. And we were HAPPY!

If you ever want to play on another server I've got toons everywhere that need some company.

Bullcrap and you KNOW it. Even THEN we wanted more slots. Especially when CoV was put out... we were rioting about not having slots for the new villains, when they talked about it early on.
I had my first "myrdinn dark" as a hero, just to save the slot as a villainous character, just in case States hints would come to fruition on day three. (dag burn lag because of preordering!)

I (and others, likely) appreciate that. I just feel... odd... on other servers. It's that whole remembering when everyone was on one server thing... one of the things I hate about sticking around post-beta in a lot of the MMOs I've seen.

That reminds me, I need to check on if "Prime Warden" ever opened up as a name...
