Does Spectral Wounds + damage proc = lasting Dam?

If I put a IO with a chance for x% damage in spectral wounds, does the damage it (may) do not get healed?
I'm guessing no, but ?

Thanks

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

No, it won't be healed.

Look at the power info. The heal is a fixed amount, and is not affected by the damage dealt.

So if the damage/heal is 100 points, and you're enhanced for +99% damage (199 dealt), and the enemy resists 75% (49 damage dealt), it still heals 100 points at the end, not 199 or 49. Add procs, and it still heals 100 poins.

I was under the impression that the heal was actually "negative unenhanceable psi damage", so while it wouldn't be affected by damage enhancements, it would heal less if the enemy has psi resists.

You are correct. But as you said, it's unenhancable, which means it still works the way I described - it's just how it gets there that's different.

Thanks very much for the info & explanation.

Interesting, so its possible to heal more than you harmed... yikes.

Not.. not quite. The "heal", since it is actually a negative value of Psionic Damage, is also reduced by psi resist. It's flagged as unbuffable by Enhancements and Buffs, but can still be resisted, thus reducing the amount of healing the enemy gets from it.

Though... Oh I guess you can. If you had enough -damage on you to cut your damage output to about 40% of normal, you'd heal just as much as you dealt.

But what are the chances of that? Next to nothing. I'm going to go get hit by the Mutation crash and Darkest night at the same time.
