Pre-sell Super Boosters

We've all gone into the NCSoft store when the new Super Booster is released, or at least tried too. You know that when the word gets out the store gets hammered by way too many requests for it to handle, especially if another NCSoft game is having a promotion in the store at the same time.

So what I'd like to suggest is that 14-30 days before the release of a new Super Booster (or other new store item, e.g. if Going Rogue is released via the NCSoft store as well as retail outlets) these items should become available in the NCSoft store.

This should ease the strain on NCSoft store servers as well as on the nerves of eager City players.

Not trying to nit-pick since I know what you're trying to say but I think left some parts out.

I'm guessing what you're trying to say is that items, like the boosters, should be placed in the store 14-30 days before they're actually released into the game as a pre-order.

People could buy them and use the seriel code on their account and once the content goes live then the player automatically has the booster as if he or she had just purchased it.

I think it's a good idea, but one problem I see is that many people believe that the science booster is already in the game and that you just have to have the code to access it. If this is true then if they did a pre-order then people would have the content before the devs wanted to release it since the player would already have the serial code entered in.

Couldn't they just build a time delay to whenever they wanted in the Pre-Sale Boosters so they wouldn't activate till the magic Word is said.

My suggestion would be Sell-Away....but thats just me.

Or something like that anyways.

Enjoy your day please.

If the tech allows it, then I think this would be an elegant solution. /signed

If the tech doesn't allow it, then they need to beef up the store servers (unlessthey already did) so that we don't get a repeat of Super Booster II.

I think part of the problem is that Guild Wars had a large free promotion going on during the Super Booster II launch as well.

This really bogged down the store, for them as well as us.
