Ok I need help. I updated graphic drivers and now City of Heroes wont display. I can tell its running, I hear the background dramtic music. I can even hit tab and do password but nothign appears on screen.
Tried a couple of other games and they are working fine.

What system are you running as well? I got the same thing happening when I started using windows 7 and the new patch came out. I ran it fine on w7 before, but when the new patch for COX came out, it stopped working on w7, even though I hadn't changed anything. I went back to a previous driver install for my video card, but no joy. So now if i want to play COX I have to log into windows xp first. Which uses the same drivers and everything and works fine.

Revert to nVidia 185.85 drivers. Many people are experiencing this issue with the 186.18 driver that was released yesterday.
Props for Brightshadow's reply. It apparently is a known issue.

Wow that's strange. Usually nvidia's driver packages are rock solid.
Not surprising Neko. microsoft seems to thrive on breaking drivers with new versions of windoze.

That's the point though Fedor, it wasn't windows that broke things for me, it was the new COX patch. Before the patch I could play just fine. The day the patch was applied, I can't play. If I leave it sit it will sometimes.. very... slowly... load.... But I've never had the patience to wait for it, and it's not like I can take an hour to load each scene when playing.
Something in the new patch just doesn't like windows 7. Before patch, worked fine on both Win7 and XP. After patch I can only play on XP. Same hardware and drivers.

Then the problem is with windows 7. It's entirely possible the patch changed something and windows 7 is not allowing it to work. When in doubt microsoft is always wrong.
