Right mouse click on them and one of the menu entries should be something along the lines of 'Close Power Tray'.

Right click on them and click "Close Tray". It's easier if you advance the tray to something that doesn't have powers in it first, otherwise you have to be careful to click in between so you don't right click on a power instead of the tray itself.

If you have powers in the tray, Right clicking on the big number is usually the easiest way to get the "Close Tray" menu to open.
those windows with my powers in them? how do I get rid of them?
