Fort Build critique
So nobody has any advice, or even a looks great go rock out in pvp lol.
I built a fort with 67% Dmg Bonus. Needless to say, it still sucked and the hardest attack it could muster was 134 w/aim against any squishy with a res shield. so i gave up.
I dont know whats wrong with your fort, but i just tested mine not set io'ed out yet agains my Io'ed set scrapper and i was doing alot more than 134 with out aim, so your toon is messed up.
i think the thing is the big change in performance in forts,
before, Forts were slightly better than blasters, that is solid damage in pvp, and enough defense that was semi-reliable vs. people with the more extreme accuracy and to-hit options.
Now, the defense isn't really worth much, and their damage relative to other AT's was drastically reduced.
Add to that with status effects marginalized, DR and some of the changes that followed litterly destroyed a fort's effectiveness in pvp, under the current setup, i think you could make a solid argument for uping their damage a little for pvp.
Am I saying you can't rep now under the current conditions, not at all just difficult. The max slotted ranged attack, is maybe 200 something in RV( I'm ignoring the Shark ranged attack which is actually much better in pvp, than your standard ranged attacks, and also ignoring assault, se bonuses or aim),
their are a lot of builds out their capable of a lot more ranged burst damage, some of whom wouldn't be considered ranged types.

how much resists does a DR'd scrapper get? that's the difference.
That 134 points was supposedly against a squishy with its epic shield toggled on. Assuming level 50 arena or RV with DR on, base resists + epic shield will give you something like 40% resistance if you're a squishy (the 40% base + 40% from shields gets cut in half, isn't that fun?). A Scrapper will have a slightly less harsh DR curve but most Scrappers in zones are Regen, who have no resists other than the base 10% (maybe another 10 after DR if they took Tough).

I know Forts got hit with the nerf bat, but still like playing mine, and they are still fun to me, so just asking for advice on what I should either drop, or move around or pick up instead thanks. Not really good at building a pvp build this is pretty much my first time thanks alot. Oh and this is for team zone pvp mostly, might do a arena here and there.
