COH is a black screen

I just updated my video drivers last night, and everything but COH runs fine. Whenever I load COH, the game loads, but the screen is black. Any suggestions?

Did you just update your Nvidia Driver?

If so, the current one doesn't work for everyone.

Uninstall the new one, run the driver clean tool found at the top of this forum section, reinstall the previous version, and you should be good to go.

Known issue. Just downdate to the 185s.

Thanks guys, that took care of it. It is a shame that the new driver doesn't work though.

Since I'm here, do you have any idea why COH won't let me turn on the PhysX support? I have it enabled on the card.

That just detects an AGEA PhysX card. Unless you have the old card (which is now legacy) it will be greyed out. You don't need to turn it on in the game if you have NVIDIA PhysX support on your graphics card. Just install the PhysX driver and turn your physics setting up to very high
