Seriously, I would love nothing more than to see that Fire/Kin in action. If you tell me what server you're on, I'll roll a toon and come watch you farm solo till the cows come home.
I know when I farm bosses, I do occasionaly miss certain things even with a huge amount of global accuracy and slotted accuracy. I know for a fact that build would be missing even more than mine and unless I see it for myself, you cant convince me otherwise.
Yes, a lot of the dmg does come from hotfeet and firecages, but how does your FS hit? I'm willing to bet not very well with 1 ACC IO slotted.
And I dont believe you solo farm 8 man spawns of bosses at any level. And if you do, it probably takes you forever to drop them...which IS the reason you stick to 50s...right?
I think the reason you stick to 50s is not because of how long it takes you to kill them, but rather that's the only thing that build is able to hit on a consistant basis.

The build works well against 52s as well. Although the accuracy issues makes 54s almost impossible.
Are you fighting level 54 bosses War_Admiral?
Not solo and neither does he.
Actually since this build in question is so damn cheap, I'll use my second build and try it myself. I probably have most of that crap laying around the base anyways.

No buffs, no inspirations, no help what-so-ever. Just you clearing 8 man spawns of bosses. We'll start at 50s and work up from there. 
1 last question....Do I get to pick the farm mission?
I mean....I can take my ice tank and farm lvl 54 bosses who deal ice dmg all day long. That doesnt say much for my ice tank tho...
So if you're going to run a map that's been created to cater to your specific build, I won't be nearly as impressed.

You can come if you like....you just can't help him on the runs. 
They key here is doing it "solo" AND in a reasonable amount of time. It doesnt matter if you can solo 54 bosses if it takes you 2 hours to clear the run.

Yeah I just wanted to see it in action. I'm very new to Fire/Kins. 
To be 100% honest, I fully expect him to do well vs lvl 50 and 51 bosses. Its lvl 52+ that I think he'll struggle with and even faceplant against.
But we'll see!

If he's able to do it, I'll be the first to come back here and admit I was wrong in regards to the build. But there can't be any purple insp. popping on the run.

I made a fire/shield build for my scrapper and he told me it sucked cause it couldnt solo boss farm :-P
Hell by the end of a few runs, he might have me considering changing to Earth.....but I do love my Fireball!!!!!
I dunno if I could stand fissure plus it just doesnt go well with the concept of a fire/kin IMO.

Fissure does about 220 damage after containment with Fulcrum Shift. It also does knockdown and disorient. You can't slot a +recharge proc into fireball. Fire mastery does not give s/l defense.
And no, you don't get to pick the mission. :P The whole point of the build is to fight against smashing/lethal bosses.

Say he's been blessed by a god. Or maybe it's a secondary mutation. Perhaps he's tuned into his ancient roots and the earth tries to protect him. Maybe it's the side affect of a science experiment gone wrong, or maybe it's a nano-bot system of defense?

I entered farm, and watched him kill 1 mob. I proceeded to tell him 50s and 51s obviously would not present a challenge. I then asked if he could switch to 52s.
Finally, I was preached to about how farming works (lol) and since I dare questioned him, I was kicked from the team.
