as opposed to the quad-xp that has been running since april 8th?
it just turns it into 8x xp, which means i will have at least 5 50's by the end of the weekend.

their choice of timing is perfect from a $ perspective, exactly 1 day after a month after an issue release. it almost guarantees 2+ months of resub time. good to see the marketing dept still exists.

I've made several, actually. But I camp in the Summer, and I think the Devs know when and schedule Double XP Weekends accordingly.
