Bah... I still can't make bosses teleport away?

I was hoping this would be included with issue 15. But it either isn't or I just don't understand how to make it happen. Its holding up one of my arcs where I want a boss to teleport away right as you are about to defeat him. Kinda of like: "This can't be!" "I will not be defeated today"

You might be waiting for a while. I'm guessing this is non-trivial to implement. I'd either work around it, fake it, or scrap the idea. Maybe we'll be surprised soon.

I think since the only ones who do this are Doctor Aeon and Professor Echo, and if you defeat Doctor Aeon in a MA mission he does teleport out when defeated, it's something coded specifically into that critter and not a general option.

Just put in a line somewhere that states that your boss teleported away. Like you, I'd like an animation to show that. Failing that, you just have to work around it somehow.

Technically, they all teleport anyway. They're teleported to the Zig or to wherever LR keeps his victims.

Doctor Aeon, Anti-matter, Captain Costillo, Nightwidow Noctrine, Arbiter Sands, Professor Echo. There is someone else that does it but i can't recall who it is.

Its ok though. I'll continue to wait patiently hoping to see this in MA someday.

Yep, I had to fake this last night, too. I set the boss to run away at X% health and then set his dialogue to explain he was getting out of there and the defeat text to explain that he disappeared just as you were about to defeat him. Not perfect, but it will do. And technically my guy didn't "teleport," so even if they added this animation it wouldn't have suited my character and I'd have had to fake it anyway. That or make him a virtually indestructable AV programmed to run away, but I think that would only frustrate people and I think I myself would be more inclined to forgive a slight "fake out" in the logistical department than extreme frustration over a bad guy I felt was an unfair challenge.
