Problem with zooming with the mouse scroll

Get your hands on another mouse and see if there's the same problem. If no, it's your mouse, if yes, it's the game/software and we'll further debug from there.

I had so many issues with Microsoft Wireless Mice, I've banned their use. I won't install them at my work. I won't use them myself. If a somebody has one, and their issue is something is wrong with the mouse, I don't even try to fix it, I just say "You need to throw that one away and get a Logitech if you're going wireless."
Microsoft wireless is junk.
There. I've said it. Any and all fanbois/fangurls: Whatever, I have my standards. 75%+ suck rating means no good.
/Others on the banned list: Anything Sony (support issues), MSI motherboards, ATI video cards, and Creative CDRoms.

Oh good. Now that it's not just happening to people with Windows 7 they might actually do something about it.
I am having the same exact issue. Did you find a way to fix it without buying a different mouse?
Sooo...I have a problem trying to zoom in and out with the mouse scroll button on my mouse. If i spin it a dozen times it zooms in/out a fraction on an inch.
I've tried upping the scroll speed in the settings in-game, also in my mouse settings in Windows and it doesn't change a thing.
I don't have a problem with the scroll wheel in any other program or anything, and I never had the problem before when I used to play CoX.
For reference I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer (wireless), and Vista x64.
