Hi there, I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me some pointers with my new build.

This is meant as a low cost/ High +Rech with a focus on AoE attacks.

It looks very good, three suggestions.

Slot the Accuracy/Damage enhancement into Blazing Arrow

Slot the Celerity: + Stealth into SS it gives you pretty much invisibility.

Slot Performance Shifter: Chance for + Endurance into Stamina as it will give you more endurance then a regular endurance modification enhancement.

Solid build.

Just a few observations.


In charged armor you arent getting very much out of the resist common. You could either slot another resist/end IO in that slot or take the slot out and redeploy.

If you wanted to redeploy subdual could use a damage/end IO
or world of confusion could take another proc. if you ever planned on turning it on. Finnaly, you could always put another recharge in surge of power.

Very nice use of the unbounded leap in sprint. Saves money and does the same thing as a celerity.

How do Archery/MM blasters work out later on? I am having a heck of a time with mine (Level 10) because the redraw kind of annoys me...Do you guys feel like it is worth the constant redraw, or does it bother you as wel?

I like mine much. Then again I was very happy with it at the lower levels.The redraw isnt as bad as it is for assault rifle which randomly seems to redraw even when it doesn't have to. If you are worried about animation times in your attack chain redraw is supposedly not a factor.

Actually, it is, albeit a minor one. Keep in mind however, that the attacks were given their numbers when redraw time was factored in to the animation time. When the redraw time was removed from the base animation time (making the actual attacks faster), there was no reduction in damage to account for the now higher DPA. The simple way to think of it is that you receive an animation speed bonus by using attacks with the same weapon concurrently and there is no penalty for using powers that cause redraw (except for the loss of said bonus).

I find the Bow reappears very quickly. My Arch/MM mostly attacks with the Bow.
He doesn't have Psychic Scream(a great power but, yes, redraw), and Subdue rarely used.
I 6-slotted World of Confusion with the Coercive Persuasion, and works fairly well for Melee mitigation(3 secs of Confuse is still 3 seconds they aren't attacking you). Drain Psyche and Psychic Shockwave I use mostly for what mobs stay in melee.
I combine Concentration & Aim (In that order to mitigate the redraw) for a nasty, nasty Rain of Arrows.


The plastic tips at the end of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister.

Fistful will be a bit more user friendly with a sixth slot containing a common range IO or centriole. You can swipe the slot from Health maybe.

Thanks for the comments and help

I took Santorican's suggestion and put in the damage/acc IO. It seems to be working well.

I took Another_Fan's suggestion and went with more recharge in surge of power since I use that against bosses.

I like the idea of extra range in fistful but its last on my aoe chain, and I had no idea where to take the slot from.
