The original programmer of Mids has stepped down. Mids doesn't have the time to maintain the program anymore. Original post here.
So what's the status of the program? It's been taken over by Steiner of the Titan Network. From what I've heard, Steiner's working on a major revamp of the program and is aiming to get a new version for I15.
Cut the guy some slack - Steiner only took over about a month ago. I imagine he's been working pretty hard.

Yeah, that sounds cool. I just wasn't sure what was going on. I mean after all I don't pay for it so all I can do is appreciate the work. I am glad to hear that it is still in production in some form.

Yeah. Which is fair enough, really; after all, Mids ran this thing for years. And he had the good grace to pass it on to someone else rather than just leaving the program hanging. Most other build planners have just flat out been abandoned.
Of course, we don't have anything right now...but I'm hopeful we'll see something soon enough.

Y'know if people wanted it bad enough they could add the pvp IOs themselves. Its a very complicated/confusing process but it is doable!
True. I recall there was a pretty common 'unofficial' update to Mids floating around when VEATs came out, IIRC - coincided with a lag period in Mids releases, so someone else worked up the powers. You can do quite a bit to add data to the program.
But most players are lazy. Including me.

With the latest build, any time I try to modify ANYthing, it breaks Mids. It won't open, and crashes instead. I have to uninstall it, and reinstall it... Very odd, and very suckage.

One day a few weeks ago I decided I wanted to add the PvP IOs.. I managed to create one set (empty set) before getting totally lost trying to add enhancements to it.

IIRC, the ability to modify the database from within Mids' got broken around the time the PvP/PvE toggle was added.

Does any one know the status of the development of Mids' Hero/Villain Designer. It would appear the software hasn't been updated in about 6 months, and with the new Dominator changes it will be difficult to properly plan new builds. Not trying to judge the developer, I was just hoping to find out if it is still being developed.
