Upgrading a trial account:Do I keep leftover days?

I have about 8 days left on my trial, and I would like to upgrade my account so I can talk to people and get my nifty jetpack. If I upgrade now, will I be losing those 8 days?

You shouldn't lose the 8 days. Time is always ADDED to the "play until" date in your account management page.

If you have 8 days remaining, and you are issued 30 more days (from a retail code), you'll then have 38 days.

Alright ^_^ thanks for that. I have one more question though.

It says if I use the paypal payment method I`ll have to pay for a month before it will apply the month from purchasing the game. This would bring me up to 68 days. I don't have the money to buy that extra month, but I like the idea of being on a non-recurring payment plan. (Just paying for a month and letting it end.)

Would I be able to start with a credit card and then switch to a non-recurring plan afterwards?

Yes, you can subscribe with your credit card, and then when you want to change, you have to CANCEL your billing (you will still be able to play until your remaining time expires). Then you can re-subscribe, and choose your new billing method (you still wont lose any remaining time... and any new time will again be ADDED).

I would note that your credit card would not be charged until the trial/retail box days are up.

I believe another method you can use for non-recurring billing is to buy NCsoft game cards. I use a credit card, but I recall this being mentioned on the forums.
