As you can tell that wasn't the real me. I was impressed by the violence. It was truly awe inspiring to see you go through the Freedom Phalanx uncontested. I expected a bit better from the Clockwork King but he is unreliable. You managed to defeat the entire Freedom Phalanx as well as Lady Grey and her pet Serpent Drummer. Well done. Since you can't hear my laughter I'll have to write down hahahahaha. Thank you for an amusing diversion. Sincerely Lord Nemesis

Nemesis has to pay for that little stunt. I am all for slapping Statesman around but he made you look like a fool. I gave you the best info I had and it took you to a Nemesis base. You might want to complain about getting bad info from me. Tough. When you beat on Citadel it didnt bother you any. Posi getting slapped around didnt give you any warning bells. The only time you knew it was the real Phalanx was when I told you.

Interesting idea, I'll give you that.

If I want to torture test my Scrapper's attack chain, I go solo a pylon. If I want to test his durability, I go run an RWZ challenge. Both of these tests have been around before the MA and both still work very well. Honestly though, I'm rather surprised the AV soloing crowd hasn't come in here to ask why you're fighting EBs yet.
Frankly, I think fighting a bunch of different EBs is a better survivability test than a RWZ challenge.
Try soloing a loop around the Storm Palace. If you can do that you are probably good to go.

Ok Ill be the first to say it. Make them all AVs and then I will be impressed.
I'm having problems with Ms. Liberty. I can't seem to make headway against her regeneration. Once she hits Dull Pain all headway I've made is lost. I tossed an Achilles proc in Hack but it doesn't seem to be effective. My build is a BS/Fire relatively cheaply built. It isn't doing that bad considering when States or some of the other AVs hit you a 3rd of your lifebar goes bye bye.
There are a few options I can think of for Ms Liberty. The first is the time honored load up full of reds and just beat the living hell out of her. The second is get a shivan. The third is borrow a Kin or Rad for a few minutes but asking someone for help is against everything a scrapper stands for.
Valk is a pain but that should be solved over time. I might have to get the last 2 sets of Obliteration in Headsplitter and Whirling Sword. Definitely have to get Shivans.
I could make them AVs by maxing my difficulty but to get through one mission (assuming that my dmg output exceeds the regen) would be 30 min per AV multiplied by 11 AVs in the 1st mission..... Lets see about 5.5 hours. I know scraps are by nature homicidal nutcases but there aren't too many with an attention span like that.

My search-fu fails me at this moment. What is a RWZ Challenge? (and before the flame singes me, yes, I at least know RWZ=Rikti War Zone, just don't know the challenge)
Thanks
Goodbye, City of Heroes...I'll miss you.
On Justice as @Amperrie (well, for a little while longer...)
+4 spawn of rikit that includes 3 bosses, generally without temps or inspirations.
Solo a spawn of +4 Rikti that includes 3 bosses
- no temporary powers
- no inspirations
- no deaths (sometimes argued that there should be one death allowed if you have a rez power)
- all enemies must be aggro'd and able to attack you at all times (sometimes argued against from a "this is poor tactics" standpoint)
- corner pull allowed as an exception to the previous rule
The rules, though, are flexible. The point of the challenge isn't a yes/no test of your uberness, but rather a way of testing out and improving your build and your skills. As such, if you can't complete it using ALL the rules, try some variations that are a little simpler. What about two bosses? What if you take one small inspiration at a time? What about +3s instead of +4s? Similarly, if you can complete it easily using all the rules, feel free to add new ones. What about doing it while standing under a pylon? What about dragging an elite boss into the mix? What about doing it while not using one of your key powers? To me, it's about what you can learn, and what you can improve. So to me, the only reason to be a stickler for the rules is if you're bragging "I beat the RWZ challenge!" But even then, if you're clear about which rules you violated, and add a "sorta" qualifier to your initial statement, I don't see much problem.

No, borrowing a Kin or Rad is not against the Scrapper Code of Win. It only states that you should keep kicking [censored] regardless of whether you actually get a Kin or Rad to come along with you.
On your problems with Miss Liberty, a steady diet of red inspirations is probably sufficient. Broadsword, especially on the lower end of the budget spectrum, does rather mediocre DPS to begin with, but what attack chain are you using? Optimizing that might give you the edge as well.
Been Spamming Parry. My attack chain is Hack, Disembowel and Headsplitter. Course been loading up F.Embrace and Build Up.

I left some feedback for you on the UHB forums about the build itself, but if your attack chain is Hack -> Disembowel -> Headsplitter, where's the Parry you're spamming? You need to to figure out the exact, complete order of the attacks and other powers you use before the chain repeats itself completely, then you can start analyzing how to improve it. You might find the DPS calculator I have linked in my signature (under "guides and calculators") to be useful if you're up for a bit of number crunching.
I was torture testing my new BS/Fire scrap build. Ran Ricky through "The Scrapper's Fantasy Arc" mission 1. I created the story arc and designed it to be a pain and let me know some of the more blatant problems with my builds.
Dreck beat Ricky twice and those were my only defeats. Vandal had to have Elude at some point. Dra'Gon and Honoree were painfully slow to kill because I was barely out damaging their regen. They were EB status to make it a fair fight.
06-25-2009 01:35:24 You have defeated Dreck

I haven't started mission 2 yet. Figured I'd post it here for those scraps that like throwing down with the biggest and baddest of CoH and CoV. I added a plot to it beyond "hunt kill AVs" This is the mission intro.

Well we are going to start you off easy. I am sending you to the Council base in Striga. I told them you were coming and even gave them a time. I said they werent nothing and they can bring everybody they want and we will beat the living hell out of them all. I think they were a tad upset. Because Im a hell of a nice guy I let the Rikti know youd be there. I also upped the Challenge by telling a bunch of C list chumps about the beat down so they are going to try and take you down too. After you get done beating the hell out of them let me know.

Since you completed the first mission Ill assume you are competent and psychotic. Good combination. Back a while ago I did a favor for the Dark Watcher. He sent me to the Shadow Shard to investigate a Nemesis base. Im sure you have stomped tons of them. Well this base had 2 special automatons. It was one of Positron and Manticore. I destroyed them both but that got me thinking about how many he actually has made. I am going to send you to a Nemesis base. It is an abandoned facility that Nemesis has hidden well. Nemesis is a genius so I talked to a buddy of mine and asked him how he would hide a base on that scale. The reason I found it is because I wasnt looking for the base. I was looking for where it could be. Interested in spoiling Nemesiss day?
[/ QUOTE ]
The mission arc is "The Scrapper's Fantasy Arc" #235186. You might not be able to complete it but sometimes you just have to throwdown and see who is left standing when the dust clears.
Happy hunting.
