What should I buy?

My wife and I have a personal supergroup. We've each run 4 or 5 toons up to level 50 in it, and at the moment we have roughly 1 million spare prestige lying around doing nothing. I'm not too knowledgeable about supergroup bases, and what you can put in them, so I'm here asking for suggestions. What cool items could I add to our base. I'm not really interested in things that are decorative only. We already have the following items.

Teleporters to every zone
Power and Control (not sure which items specifically, but we have plenty of each)
Enhancement bin
IO crafting table
Basic base crafting table
level 1 and level 2 empowerment stations
med bay with 1 basic reclamator

So, any suggestions on what I should/could add?

It's a hero SG as well if it matters for some reason.

Well, these can come in handy

Ouro Crystal (Pillar of Ice & Fire)

Inspiration Bins - for collecting Gifts during the Holiday Event and also to stockpile large Insps to be picked up while on TFs

More Enhancement Bins - especially if you are going to level more alts in the SG, makes it easier to pass down IOs

Salvage Bins - for collecting Rare Salvges (if cash flow is a problem, probably not, but then again you might be levelling new alts) and for collecting Costume Salvages (nice CC prizes for lowbies, very convenient for levelling new alts as well)

If you can get the SG Healing Badge, a Robo-Doc or Tree of Wonders can be handy for buying Blues & Greens and for selling Recipes (when you rez in base, just stop by on the way back out)

That's the functional items I can think of off the top my head, since it seems unlikely you will ever be base raiding in a personal SG - so you don't Defensive Items per se except as decorative things, which you ruled out.

Some of the things I listed are handier if you would be levelling up more alts, of course - it's what I do with my personal SGs.

We're constantly starting up new characters and sticking in the SG, some go somewhere and some don't. Inspiration and Salvage bins sound like a good idea though. I guess I might have to expand my workshop room. I don't tend to run a ton of Ouro stuff, but I might pick that up too.

What are the requirements for getting the SG healing badge? Support characters aren't really my thing, but I do have an empathy defender, so I could probably make some headway.

Thanks for the advice.

My impression is that the SG healing badge is really hard to get with only one or two empaths or thermals going for it, although I generally try to play them during Rikti & Zombie invasions to get maximum number of heals simultaneously.

For the only SG I started myself with the badge - I had someone on my server tempararily join the SG while working on his damage taken (? I think) badge. He healed himself as he took damage IIRC, which counted, and got me the badge in about a week's worth of dedicated work on his part. You might be able to find someone in the Badging forum or on your server doing the same thing.

As far as adding workshop space to hold Enhancement storage - you can stack the tables on top of each other. I have 7 Tech Enhancement Tables stacked in a space of 1X2 (half of a workshop, the other half is the corridor) all still accessible and functioning.

BTW, since you do level up lowbie alts - I also have an Enhancement Bin where I dump high level SOs (since I use only IOS above 35-40). Then the lowbie alts can pull those out to sell them from time to time for a quick cash infusion.

I put Inspiration Storage in my medical room for quick pickups upon rezzing there.

Unfortunately Salvage Storage is big & ugly and harder to conceal and work into a good design.

I have a personal SG and ran 2 Emps to 50 over 2 years. This was enough to get me the Auto-Doc Badge, and I have yet to actually use it (shakes head). I also got 3 other 50s and a bunch of other stuff too, so I am sure if you work at it less time would be involved.

Enjoy your day please.

I don't remember everything I did for the Autodoc badge, and I don't remember what worked well.

I ran a lot of Katies. I think those probably worked best. I don't know if the invasions really got me that much; it takes about ten level 1's to have as many hit points as one level 50.

We had a couple of "Farming" attempts, with a tank and an empath healing away inside a mission, but I don't think those worked out very well. We got four of us together near Portal Corps and hassled some Rikti and autohealed, but that was more "social event with gunfire" than efficient badging. I convinced someone to try to fight a DE on Monster Island once, but that must not have worked out well, because we only did it once.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
