1. I use it as the Tanker herder attack...Big herd..Drop OM and watch the destruction...Make sure you hit your Suppression as soon as possible after dropping OM to finish off the LTs and Bosses...
2. Mob POP, when I am Tanking. Aggro one mob with Surppression, then drop OM in a second mob. All of the remaining guys will aggro on you..
3. For the fun of it...It's better than any Blaster or Corrupter Alpha as it uses little end. So pop it as offen as you can when teamed with other Alpha strike holders and enjoy the perks of a full end bar...

I tend to use it as a pseudo-tank. Something extra to get aggro off me or collect a spawn into a chunk to maximize my other aoes. It's also a nice mini-nuke, plus it's just plain cool, so sometimes I launch it for more damage or just for the heck of it.

I most often use it to clear the mobs from around a boss so me and/or my team can focus on the main dude.
Also I use it when the agro from a team mate goes horrbly wrong and/or the Brute dies, or to pull agro off a team mate getting spanked.
I used it this way last night on the Valkyri mish where the brute ran up a ramp into a group of LB and got killed while we were all attacking. The DOM was getting heaps of agro and was popping greens so I dropped Venom then Omega. The ones that werent taunted kept of firing but that was less than half.
When it goes BOOM (I always type BOOM when it explodes - keep on meaning to make that into a /Bind) almost all the Lt's are dead and those that are not have less than 1/4 health so we can mop them up easily.
Its good as a OHH CRAP power and also to clear up mobs. Always drop Venom before if you can for that exta 20% dam.
Like Energy_Aura said follow with Suppression or other AoE's (or even during the OM count down) and enjoy

I have done a Stalker to 50 and while the ST damage was great, doing AoE damage is just so much more satisfying

Over on test I used it to get an EB off my back. Due to slotting of it, the EB took some serious damage too while I hit my dull pain clone.

After playing my SoA Crab Spider for a while, I find myself truly enjoying it's playstyle. Yet, for some reason, I am struggling with the placement of Omega Maneuver in my attack chain. Is it an alpha strike, or possibly more of a distraction to pull foes off you? It does great damage when it hits, and I enjoy the effects, but I'm searching for utility.
In the detailed info portion, the power lists an AOE damage range of 20, while the taunt lists an AOE range of 10. This, combined with the taunt's accuracy to be unenhanceable, seems to cripple an otherwise great power. Thoughts?
