DB and Invul questions...is DB good on scrappers?
Please check out this thread. It should answer most of your questions.
Bah! I was posting the same link! Anyway, yeah, it's a decent combo. And as for the tl;dr version of the linked thread - Nihilii annihilates everything with his pimped-out DB/Invuln.
Dual Blades does a nice combination of AoE and single-target damage. Yes, you can handle large spawns single handed. You need the Attack Vitals combo, and many people pick up the Sweep Combo as well. The typical DPS chain is Blinding Feint -> Attack Vitals.
I have a lowbie Dual Blades/Willpower brute. I'm not enjoying him nearly as much as my Dual Blades/Willpower scrapper. Maybe Dual Blades just isn't as much fun on a brute. I loved my Super Strength/Willpower brute.
Invulnerable's performance depends a lot on what you're trying to survive. If it's smashing/lethal, you're unkillable. If it's FCEN, you're pretty good. If it's psi, you better have a back up plan. I have no problem with sets that include an Achilles' heel, but you'll want to be aware that you have one. It's manageable, though.

Too many alts to list.
There's nothing particularly high-endurance about Dual Blades, though I suppose it does tend towards the high end of the sets. The range is fairly narrow, though, excluding the intentional outlier of Claws. Just make sure to slot endurance reduction in the attacks, you'll want Stamina, and frankenslotting at some point is a good idea.

I was afraid of the same thing with my DB/Invul. I held off on temp invul for a while because of that. Lets just say Dull Pain got a real good work out. My DB invul is just lvl 37. ill be looking at that guide myself.

The thing that bugs me about Dual Blades is the sounds. They're just awful. "CLING-CLANG! CLING-CLANG!" Since when are we hitting trash bins?
The Cimeroran Traitor sword sounds? Now that's what Dual Blades should have sounded like!

That's good to know. I was about to try and remake an old alt, and now I have yet another reason to leave him in my brain attic. DB/Stone Brutes are not winners, no matter how cool it is to have a rock golem with giant freaking swords.
Too many alts to list.
Okay, I have two comments, based on my experience with Dual Blades and Invulnerability.
There is nothing in DB that truly benefits from Hasten - Unless you are building an AV soloing machine, where you absolutely Must have the maximum DPS. In that case, you'll be spamming a single attack-chain, rather than taking full advantage of all of the combos in Dual Blades. And that's not a Leveling build, but a maximized L50 Respec Rebuild.
In Invulnerability, Hasten Could assist you in building a 'Perma Dull Pain' build - Again, unnecessary, unless you're planning to solo-grind AVs. And then there's Unstoppable, with its mighty crash, but, if you can survive the crash, then having it available to go up again is Super. However, again, that's a Respec build and not one that is fun for leveling up in the first place.
Resistance to Energies is going to do you more good than Resistance to Elements. Makes those sappers hurt a little less.
Unless you plan to be a pseudo-Tanker, there is no need for Fighting, either. Invulnerability is the single Toughest Scrapper Secondary available.
I see you have Super Speed, with a Stealth proc. If you have any of the Prestige Sprints, it's simply better to choose one of those for movement and put the Stealth in Sprint. Then you can toggle Stealth on and off, when you Need it and choose your movement powers at will. Super Speed is still a good one! and, with that and the Stealth in Sprint, you'll be fast(er) and nigh-invisible.
In which case, Hasten is fine, but you won't need it available all the time, so you can save some slots.
Otherwise, Combat Jumping and Super Jumping make a good combo.
My only other comment is that you really should take the DB attacks approximately in the order they are offered. Blinding Feint shouldn't wait until your 40s.
Just for comparison, this is how I'd build this Set.

As always, your milage may vary and this build-out may not suit your concept or playstyle.
Dual Blades is a fast-attack set and not a 'big orange numbers' one. It gets it's DPS through having Many fast attacks and through the special bonuses activated by the combos - For that reason, it's a 'tight' build that you can't really skip a power from, almost at random, like you can with other sets. The one exception is Confront, of course, and you don't 'need' Power Slice until the 30s, which is why I moved it, in my build.
Be Well!

if brutes ever got claws it would prob be the same deal, the combination of lower base dmg on lethal dmg abilities combined with a lower buff from follow up would mean claws wouldnt be on the same level for brutes as scrappers even with a full fury bar until you added a fulcrum shift or two. (and longbow - the most common enemy group fought redside - heavily resists lethal damage)
Here is a build I came up with (well I MIGHT have taken ideas from SOMEONE eles build...but I neither deny/nor confirm those rumors)

Ok...is this a good combo.
Also..does DB do good damage? AoE? Single target?
Can you do large spawns single handed?
What combos do you "need" for AOE and for single target? Is there a way to get some of each without having to pick every power?
I had a DB brute before and I was just not happy with the single target damage for taking down bosses....maybe I didnt do it right...maybe I didnt give it enough of a chance. Im gonna be "farming" some to buy any and everything needed.
Invul just seems to have the ability to hang in there and be a "mini" tank is that right?
GOD I miss the glory days of perma unstoppable...thats how long its been since I played a invul scrapper.
Thanks
