Plant/Psy Help for new player
This is the build im currently using, It has uses in almost every situation decent defense perma etc. it is however a very expensive build if you are looking to drop lots of money into a dominator though i would suggest something along these lines, you could also pick up fighting instead of concealment for a little more survivability but your recharge will take a hit it will however end up cheaper. use this as more a reference and not exactly how you have to build.
the high ranged defense really helps you live if your dropping your aoe immobilize alot and only jousting into melle for a second or two.

I am starting a plant/psy dominator, which I plan to use for almost every aspect of the game (teaming, soloing, rp, crafting badging, pvp etc) I'd like to make this my 'solid' character so I'm looking for help so I don't mess this one up. I will be working toward accumulating infamy to purchase good enhancements for this character, but I am not familiar with IO sets and slotting. I'm looking for help in putting together a good overall build will slotting suggestions.
