I'm in as a biddee, will have to figure out what I can offer...cookies? For the classes, all I can offer are "Base Building 101" or "How to dress like a tramp in 1 easy lesson" 
And yes these classes should be scheduled by the Vet offering them, but should take place within a week of the closing event, which is on 7/11/09.

I'd be more than happy to be sold away. Just finished running my final SF, so i've run everything on game at least once, most hero things waaaaay too many times. Running TFs a lot of the time anyway, i'd be happy to offer my services to running TFs with a team of newbies all day long or offering my knowledge base on said TFs to players having questions. Just lemme know where you need me! =)

I can do:
PvP
Making quick influence/infamy
Slotting help
Orgamy
Any hero TF is fine, i've run them so many times can pretty much run off the names of mishs, and for those I can't I got a binder here with enough info to keep me at genius levels. =P
But yeah i'd love to help run a PUG TF with any newbies that want to. Whatever level range they need i'll come along and help lead and inform them of story/mission structure. So whichever one is up to you, i'm good with any. =)

I'd be willing to offer myself up for hero side TFs or a MS Raid leader. Not sure if the latter works all that well for a "newb" event though...

As you've seen, we are having ourselves a little "Welcome to COH" event here on Triumph and a few of us are trying to organize it. My part is to organize an auction/raffle and game section-specific classes.
This auction will be held on Saturday July 11th. The auction will start at 5pm pacific/8pm eastern. Each veteran volunteer who is included and auctioned off will get 10% of their final bid. The rest of the money will be put into a raffle and tickets sold to win a chance at it. After being won, it will be up to the bidee and the bidder to schedule the experience.
What kind of volunteers am I looking for? Experts or special experience type offers. Examples:
buy a spot on a Master team (though we can't/won't guarantee a master badge)
buy a spot on an organized PvP team in RV for an evening and pwn the zone
win a mentoring session with a top marketeer for tips and tricks
win a two hour session with a top player to run (insert TF, arc, accolade hunt, etc)
win a mentoring/training session with a great PvPer to answer your questions and help you up your game
Stuff like that! Obviously, the above are just suggestions and I am open to hearing any other ideas people have. And if you want to be involved and not be auctioned off, you are welcome to donate things for the raffle (examples: recipes, complete IO sets, influence, infamy, salvage, etc).
For the classes, they'll be much more beginner friendly. We'll need teachers and subjects. Examples of subjects:
Easy ways to make extra influence
PvP
Best ways to slot
General game questions
General build questions
Badge questions
The classes, insofar as I know, do not have a time slot yet. So that'll probably be determined by the teacher I'm assuming.
So what do you think? I hope there's a lot of you who want to get involved!
