DB and Gloom

Does anyone know if its viable to add Gloom to a DB attack chain? I'm still uncertain on whether redraw really has much of an affect on the chain overall.

Wasn't it made clear by a developer that redraw has no affect on attack timing? I thought that the only drawback to redraw was aesthetic.

I stated in my post that I believed the only drawback to redraw was aesthetic (as far as I know).

This is untrue - it used to be, however.

Dual Blades in particular was the first set that didn't have the draw time baked into the power animation and rooting times. Most of the other sets with draw times have been reviewed and the animation times changed to eliminate the draw time; the exceptions that I know of are Thorns and Spines.

As for working Gloom into the chain... it's possible, but you have to add the draw time to its animation time when figuring out how it's going to affect your DPS. Without the added draw animation time, it's one of the best attacks a Brute can get for DPA - with it... not so much.
