I'm compiling the new AE critter power lists for the 6/9/2009 patch. A lot of changes occurred so the old lists are rather obsolete. The new ones are being posted here.

All the power lists are complete.

Did I read that right? Energy Assault no longer requires Total Focus for bosses?

Only for Energy Melee and Energy Assault. For Energy Manipulation it is still Standard.

I haven't been following it much, but was there a reason given for not allowing us to custom pick more powers for, say, minions and such? Like, say I wanted to give my minion Transference and make it like a Sapper but not give it a bunch of other baggage. Was there concerns over farming, or what?

This is unacceptable.

I thought I might look at AE again after I15, but not with this stupidity. There needs to be complete customization of enemies, besides 1-3 basic powers. Anything less is just not going to work, especially since they DID have that kind of a setup before.

The AE looks like it'll remain a huge disappointment. It should have had two more issues of development time.

Do the extra possibilities to change powers add to the filesize if you go with just minion-lt-boss/easy-hard-extreme etc. settings.

I've got a file sitting at 99.08 % and am a lil' worried.

Did I read the list right? That some extra powers that appear standard in the builder don't actually show up unless the critter is a certain level?

Has it always been that way? I was under the impression that the powers listed were always present regardless of level. I will be very relieved if powers are dynamically selected based on level (now or later).

[edit] sorry, this is a QR to the OP

1) This is still CLOSED beta, remember. Things are not finalized yet.
2) No, using custom does NOT increase filesize. Also it looks like some people missed the big notice that custom critters in i15 use up a lot less space. People are getting anywhere from 20% to 30% of their space back, they pretty much cut the space that critters take up by nearly a half.
3) Yes, they always had those levels. AR critters don't use Full Auto below level 32, Controllers don't summon pets, etc...
