The new i13 pvp system is an absurdity.

You must know that your primary melee attacks dont count here. Your best attack chain is based on pool attack powers : Air Sup/Kick/Flurry. They deal much better damage. You cant believe it because it sounds so stupid ? It indeed is.

Just turn your Mids on pvp mode (Option/Configuration/Effects and Maths/Show values for players) and look at the damage of each of your attacks.

Many players fighting in the zone still keep using their primary attack powers. Most of the serious pvpers have left the game already. It shows the utter stupidity of their new pvp system.

And I'm not bashing on the game : it's a great game, but pve wise.

I was looking in Mid's and it looks like the best 2 attacks in Fire melee are BoF and GFS, but you are right Air Sup is better than both. The best PPP attack is Spirit Shark, so best to get it for a good ranged attack. Also, why take Dark Regen for PvP build, you will never have enough targets to justify using it and you have Aid Self anyway. I am not into PvP myself so take it for what its worth.

Using aid self is alot better than Dark Regen(also because aid self takes alot less endo). One thing i've noticed about DA too is it uses alot of endo. It has higher end/sec then a number of other secondaries.


One thing too in i13 pvp is the longer the activation of a power, the more damage it does. for example, Fireball for Corrs and blasters used to do decent damage, but now with i13 pvp, since fireball has a very short activation time, flares now does more damage since its activation or attack duration lasts longer.

the only other thing i'd say is, DA already has very high Psi resist(which is 50% or more) you wouldnt necessarily need that proc in dark embrace. Holds on brutes/tankers/scrappers dont last more than a few secs now so in ways it would be pointless to have on.....
