Who would take Tough/Weave on a Stone/Dark Tank?

And I like shattering the misconception "Instant invincible Tank, just add Granite" people so love to believe ("Wanna know how I know you have never played Stone?") by letting other people's Stone Tanks try to pull off half the stuff my build allows me to do.
It was genuinely painful to give one of our pity slots to a second Stone Tank on the STF. He wanted to handle Recluse. Didn't end well. He also wanted to single pull the Patrons but then, we knew he was an idiot beforehand.

I have a Stone\Ice Tank and with stone skin and granite armor I am at the smash lethal cap at 90% resistance so no need for tough. I could benefit from the weave a little but the +defense that you get from it would not be worth wasting 3 powers for. Just my opinion. If I was to get tough and weave I would get them just to slot for set bonuses.

True not needed for "average" playstyle, but to try to run a granite solo through the missions I run mine thru and you WILL NOT survive without tough and weave. In fact my granite.. fully slotted res/def in tough/weave/granite often cannot survive.
And yes with team support rock can be uber without tough/weave .. but then slap an sb, your other team buffs and target your heals thru/on ANY tank and guess what...

Do you have Stone Skin too? The default slot in SS, combined with well-slotted Granite, caps you against Smashing and Lethal damage types, making Tough entirely moot except for a prerequisite. Since you're fully slotted Tough, I'm guessing you run it when you're out of Granite, or else you skipped Stone Skin to save a power pick, and use Tough to cap S/L even though it's kind of overkill and costs endurance.
If neither of those two things is true, I can't figure out why you'd slot up Tough.

My Stone/SS tank is near un-killable. I tank LR solo every time, even have to tell emps to trust me. I dont even need to use anything extra or pop any inspirations. I have tough (drop stone skin) and weave. I am pretty much def caped to everything except Psi and toxic. I also pretty much caped Resistance as well except psi & toxic.
I have around 83% global recharge and I also have hasten to bump my recharge up even more. I am also at around 2400 Hp and I cap it with Earth Embrace. I also have around 530% regeneration, and about 44% run speed, I usually run around without rooted only needed for AVs, so I can get around pretty easy.
The only weakness my Stone has is End. Not a big deal but running on some TFs without a /kin I forget about the rage and hasten crash so I just have to adjust and not use rage or eat more blues.

Sorry all this talk about stone and I was building my shield/stone tanker must have had stone on my mind.
I have a stone/SS Tank

My stone tanked recluse solo. I was on one of those cursed 7+1 controller mstf's (one controller died before because they knew they could run ahead of the tank and handle the mobs there ...).
anyways, they brought the towers down VERY slowly, so slow, they were rebuild. I was taunting recluse, his banes, AND the flier at one point ....
I even had a try of greens, oranges and purples (he has a large to hit buff with the towers). to minimize his attacks. I went through EVERY inspiration.
I did get a inspiration refill from a kind controller. Other than that, with tough+weave+granite+EA (EA recharged 4 times, in granite!!!). why? because the team support was keeping the other controllers alive (MST practice, since we failed).
