Frame Freezes Up Occasionally on This spot
IIRC, there is a large room up ahead that takes an obscene amount of time to load (compared to others), and causes that little delay. I have my viscale turned up to 4, and I can usually see the room appear in the distance immediately after that little delay. It used to be a longer delay on my older computer.
Other people have speculated a missing cutscene pointer in that location causing the delay, but I don't think that's the case.
In short, I don't think the problem is at your end. I think most people encounter the same thing at that position, but with varying delay times.

It doesn't happen all the time but occasionally my screen will freeze up for about 5 seconds then unfreeze when I come to this long intersection of grid tiles. This is the only map that does this. It only happens once in the mission and then I'm good to go. I have a fairly good Graphics Card with my GeForce 9600GT running on 3GB of RAM with a Intel Pentium 4 Processor 630 with processing speed of 3GHz, hard drive 7200RPM with a 8MB Cache. I also have a fairly good monitor and do have my graphics cranked up in game to max levels.
This really isn't a big who-ta-do as it only happens occasionally and only on this section of the map, so I'm not too worried. I just found it interesting and wanted to know if anyone knows why this might do this? Maybe because of this particular grid pattern with its various colors may cause some kind of "motion lock" to allow the server to catch up with its self? Not sure.
