Negative Prestige Bug?
SGs get a prestige bonus for every member they add up to a certain number (like 20 or something like that). If people drop from the SG, then that bonus is taken away. So it's possible to have negative prestige if people leave the supergroup and that bonus prestige was already spent on the base.
Also, while editing, it's possible for it to report an incorrect amount and show negative if you have done heavy buying and selling. Exiting the Editor and leaving the base will make it show correctly the next time you go back into it. I've run into that a few times in the past.
I upgraded our base plot today. Paid about 312K for it, got back about 82K. All was good until I realized I didn't like the placement of the old plot in the new, so I redid it to get the old content to a different corner of the new plot, and suddenly I'm showing -75K. The supergroup dialog shows 152K in prestige, but the base editing view shows the negative value. Leaving the base and coming back didn't affect it.
In the situation where it looked like I traded out a plot for one of identical size, it should have deducted, then credited, the 312K. The leftover number doesn't even match that math.
[Time passes]
I had to log out completely and bring in a new character before the situation righted itself.
Okay...One day I was working on my CoV base and had a bunch of Prestige to work with. I ended up being under 10K and I was done for the day. The next day I logged back in and went to work a bit more, but I discovered I was -36K Prestige!!!! (Myself and one other have access to the Base Editor, and the other person is hardly on.) I do not know what happened or how it managed to get there. The base is small and doesn't have much in it; I have no way of determining how much rent I owe, but I don't think that is the case. I logged a Possible Bug report but I have not heard anything back yet. Is anyone else experiencing this or have experienced it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
