Later today I will be upgrading my game machine from Windows XP Pro to Vista. I don't want to re-download the CoX content after I install... suggestions?

Honestly (and seriously); SKIP Vista; wait for Windows 7 and save yourself some major headaches.

I don't think it's possible, but I may not be 100%.

I've installed mine on various machines and I always have to go through the installation process, even if I copy the folders over.

Thanks for the help, this will save alot of time.

And I will make the switch to Windows 7 once it's released. I thought I could skip past Vista, but an odd circumstance is going to make me use it for a few months. <shake fist>

I believe that the Win7 RC is still available for free download. I've got it installed, and once I let it install the neweast video drivers, I've had no issues. Think the download should be good until next May or so.

Thanks for that, zoom. I wasn't aware of that, even though it really has never been a big deal for me to reinstall.

Just be sure to move the updater to your desktop when you restore the directory back to your computer before launching it.

Most common mistake made, cox cannot re-install to the same directory the updater is running from.

Good luck.
