Emphasis on the "Do it right" part. It's easy to screw something up, even with good instructions.
If someone is at all nervous about it, they should split the move into multiple smaller transactions. There is no extra fee per transaction. You get a 10% haircut whether it's one big transfer or 10 little ones. (No, I'm not actually suggesting 10 transactions. Three or four should be plenty.)

In fact, I'm tempted to put out a challenge to prove it along the lines of specifying
a day, a time window, and a type of trinket I'll use to make a modest transfer and
the challenge would be for someone to intercept it.
My feeling is they cannot... but only with that specific approach do I consider it safe.
