"Old School" Regeneration build -
I'd think 2.6% more Resistance is so miniscule it wouldn't be worth it. I'd take the 8% Regeneration rate boost over that. That's just counting the bonuses though. What power? What sets?

Ok, and what sets are you deciding between for either the 8% Regeneration or the 2.6% Resistance? I can't find any of your sets that give either of those bonuses...
I'm sorry that was a typo I meant 6% and that was from rope a dope and the 2.6 resistance was taking a slot out of tough. Here is an updated build again.

Well, if it were me I'd take the slot out of Tough and put it in Quick Recovery. Adding another IO from that set gets you 3.65 End/Sec which will help a lot when you start attacking, especially since you'll be burning 1.31 End/Sec without Super Speed on, and 1.77 End/Sec if you plan to always have it on.
But that's just me.

This is the build I run on my fire/regen. I'm sitting on 811% regen with 35% melee defense. It's pretty survivable for the fire/ primary. A different primary would add much more mitigation. Maybe this will give the OP some ideas...

Here is an updated version of my build, I found out that by slotting Numina's Convalescences:Chance for + Regeneration/Recovery into Fast healing it increased my regeneration by 8% verses slotting it into health. Please if you can find any where in the build where I can add more recharge, defense, regeneration, or hp please do so. In tough I have the Gladiator's Armor: +Defense slotted as well.

Okay so I respec'd into the build above and decided to test it out on an AV. I had Nightstar come up from the Maria Jenkins' arc. At first everything was going very well up until I got to envolved in the clicking of my powers and before I knew it, dead.
Second time around I tried to be fancy and not use reconstruction or instant healing and dead again!
Third time around I decided to just smash stuff and use everything except moment of glory. Turns out my fire/regeneration is quite the little bad [censored]! Took alittle while but she died
