Planning my next arc is driving me insane

Hi.

I'm currently unable to login, so while I wIt for my new 'puter, I'm planning my next arc.

I don't want to give anything away, but I'm staring at a plot flowchart right now, and I'd just like to tell you that it's best described as Insanity gone mad on a rampage of Barmy, arrested by the Crazy Police, locked up in the Bonkers Asylum for twenty years and fed a strict diet of Barking and Doolally with daily injections of WTF on the orders of Doctor Derangement.

Much like Kubrick (lmao), I am slooow to create, so it'll be a while till publication even after my return to the game.

Thanks for listening.

The Echo, Arc ID 1688 (5mish, easy, drama)
The Audition, Arc ID 221240 (6 mish, complex mech, comedy)
Storming Citadel, Arc ID 379488 (lowbie, 1mish, 10-min timed)

Heh. I'm in the same boat.

Actually, the hardest part of the story I'm currently plotting out is trimming it down so that (a) the plot isn't so complex that it overwhelms the bounds of MA arcs, and (b) it doesn't end up being "just a bunch of stuff that happens". Without going into details, the thing that's giving me conniptions is the fact that MA arcs have no effect on other parts of the game, so I have to make the interactions with signature characters believable against the existing backdrop of canon arcs.

It's my bed and I'm lying in it, so this isn't a complaint, just (over)sharing.

And for a while things were cold,
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that once was green
Was colored black by those killing machines

Same thing here! My next arc is going to attempt to answer the question "What if David Lynch wrote an MA arc?"

You ever see a David Lynch film, specifically one of his last three? Yeah, I have a LOT of planning and figuring out to do. :P

Oh well, the more time spent working and planning means it will come out better, right?
