What's wrong with my troller?!?! He's BROKEN!
[ QUOTE ]
I also have been gone for about a year and a half. My troller used to be able to run amuck on almost every mish on invincible and I could turn down the difficulty for AV's and get them down. Now I run on Rugged and get by decently, but I can not even down an AV by myself anymore. Just something I am having to get used to.

A few issues ago, AVs and GMs got a significant HP and +regen boosts. For a period, you were really popular if you were Rad Emissions. The good thing that came out of it was that players learned which other powersets had -regen. They've been tweaked down since, so while a team (or several players working in concert) is still necessary to take down an AV or GM, you don't need to rely on -regen if your team can output enough damage.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.

I think the OP said that he played Villains when it came out, so he had access to Plant on that side.

Yes, and I did make a plant dominator as one of my first villains. I liked him a lot, but didn't get too far with it because I fell in love with masterminds. I made one of every flavor, but liked my Bot/FF the most. I felt invincible, especially once I got the panic button.
I started playing the troller a little heavier lately, and quickly realized all his SO's were yellow. I did a respec and pretty much sold them all off to have the cash to make IO's. I didn't realize how expensive IO's could be... I think I'm going to have to exemp for a loooong time.

Don't sweat about getting IOs too much, they're only really useful and affordable in the 35+ range, and after that you can make money just by playing the game. Steadily replace the SOs with whatever you can find and afford, that's a good way to learn the system.
Masterminds are still excellent, and Bots/FF is one of the best builds.
Glad to see you're not sore over all the nerfs, I joined long after all the major ones but still see remnants of some serious bitterness.
Multiple falls should still not be able to defeat you, even at 1 health left. However if you take damage from another source when you're at 1 health, that's another story entirely.
Since PA is immune to everything but Hami aggro, they should not be able to be defeated even during repeated falls to 1 health, unless they are taking hami damage, in which case the point is moot.
Falling.
Just tested TP foe as well on NPC enemies. You can only take them down to 5 health from falling damage and no further, despite repeated TP foe applications from great height.
