Well for some unstable foes it sure is the perfect distraction. Never bothered me in UT though "oh heehee I see your bewblets" before they get keeled by my redeemer! 
You don't really notice costume when you're targeting a Redeemer... just looking for moving objects, AKA meat. Tac Nukes are fun for the whole family!
