Fire/Storm
in pve, go mu for conserve power.
in pvp you're gonna need a huge recovery build especially with DR hitting end recovery, and it's really tight overall (my fully io'd rad/storm with 3 attacks had to forsake o2 boost to get to an acceptable recharge rate. i ended up taking veng instead of o2 for the lotg spot). it's really expensive but DEFINITELY worth the investment. you're also gonna be at a disadvantage with fire/* as you wont have a toggle dropping mez in pvp unless you take it from a patron and that makes the build even tighter.

Um well, thanks for the reply, but as I said i just got back into the game after not playing since I4. So I have no idea what that is supposed to mean.
I was looking for something more like what powers are "essential" and maybe some ideas about enhancements for them.
pve:
fire: fire blast, fireball, blaze, rain of fire, fire breath (in that order)
storm: take everything except thunder clap.

Conserve Power is a power from the Mu Patron Power Pool, which you can choose at 41. At 40, you can select one of the Arachnos leaders as a Patron, which unlocks Patron Power Pools. Personally I prefer Power Sink ( lets you draw in endurance from enemies ) over conserve power.
My power choices so far :
1 : Fire Blast, Gale
2 : Fire Ball
4 : Snow Storm ( one endurance reduction, 1 slow )
6 : Rain of Fire
8 : Fire Breath
10 : Hasten
12 : Hurdle
14 : Health
16 : Freezing Rain ( 3 recharge, 1 endurance reduction )
18 : Blaze
20 : Stamina
22 : Hurricane ( 2 endurance reductions, 2 -accuracy IOs )
24 : Superspeed
26 : Steamy Mist ( with a Steadfast -kb IO )
28 : Stimulant
30 : Aid Self
32 : Aim
35 : Tornado
38 : Lightning Storm
I plan to get Inferno later, after getting Power Sink.
As far as slotting goes, a few suggestions are above. For attacks, they are generally slotted 1 accuracy, 3 damage, 1 endurance reduction; with some recharge in rain of Fire. Keep in mind Enhancement Diversification, which means that more that 3 Single Origin Enhancements or equivalent won't give you much benefit. So don't try to 6 slot Stamina with Endurance Modifications.
Arc #40529 : The Furies of the Earth
On my fire storm I skipped thunderclap and picked up snow storm on my first go round. After playing it for a month or so I respecced out of snow storm and picked up thunderclap. There are just more scenarios where an AOE Diso will be handy than a slow toggle. I have snow storm in my pvp build though. Single slot only, with tempered readiness slow/range.
Remember to take lots of blue inspirations, as storm is heavy on endurance use, as is some of fire.

Hey guy, I'm looking to get back into CoV/CoH and decided to roll up a villain this time (they weren't around last time I played) and was wondering if I could get any suggestions on a Fire/Storm corruptor. There aren't any guides for but in the first few pages of this forum there are a lot of ppl saying that Fire/Storm is a very fun character to play.
I'm looking for a solid PvE build, I will be grouping once I get around lvl 26. Also wouldn't mind getting tips on a good PvP build since you can have 2 power sets.
