Hah. I like badges, but only when they'll give me an accolade in the long run.
Oh yes, and yesterday I believe it was, I ran into a Warshade claiming he had a "50 month veteran badge"...
1. Vet's move in a 3 month interval
2. 50 is not a multiple of 3.
3. He had up to the 3 month veteran badge.
I was on a team with guy that according to his badges had been playing the game since inception.
He asked what "EB" meant.

Too many ALTs
I still play the game but I'm not on Freedom much anymore....I've been playing toons on other servers lately, and not farming them to me farming is boring.
Farming pisses me off really now there's practically noone to form teams with. I feel like were all sliding down the path where city of heroes will be nothing but farmers and ppl who actually want to play will be on CO

I absolutely refuse to farm and can be found at almost any time of the night or day making and playing on full teams of 8 doing anything from TFs to story arcs to radio/bank missions. Plus, I'll never play CO. I hate Jack Emmert that much. I really do. If you're really having all that hard of a time finding teams (it exasperates me, but I can still form teams reasonably quickly and easily), join "Freedom Events" (or "Top Ten-Applicants"). I always check in those channels before I start using search to find the ATs that the team is lacking to make a well balanced team.
By the way, just finished getting my 2nd blaster to 50. In order to finish rounding out my collection, my next toon is gonna be a troller. Any suggestions? I refuse to play FotMs or replay powersets which means no */FF, */rad, */kin, or earth/*.

Is architect entertainment dominating this game to the point where people think they get the tickets no matter what they're doing?
So far, since AE came out, I've seen this :
-Stone tanks that don't have granite
-Regens without Integration
-WP's without Rise to the Challenge
-Kinetics without Fulcrum Shift
-Fire Controllers without Fire Imps
and last but not least...
-Empaths without Adrenalin Boost.
... Is there still people out there that actually play the game and not farm to 50? >.>

I decided on Fire/Thermal. I've always been a fan of shield support sets and everyone keeps telling me to make a Fire/* toon. The fact that */Thermal also has some nice damage and other utility buffs that aren't expensive made it flesh out pretty well build wise. */Sonic was just too expensive on the blue bar to have it be fun...
