I've done this, to an extent, with my Warshade. I built her so that the forms were basically capped out on slots, with left over slots building up Human form powers I needed.
You can probably end up shaving slots off when you combine set bonuses, but it does end up being slot heavy.
In the end, I used Set Bonuses to ensure I had plenty of Accuracy, Recharge, and Endurance Recovery. It worked out pretty well for my offense capabilities, something I geared up more for my Dwarf Form then Nova, but still, those sets do help out any form.
I've seen people cap out Ranged Defense on their WS, making Nova Form practically untouchable, and really, that's some serious survivability when you have capped Resists, and capped Ranged Defense on a hover Blaster.

Yea that's what ithink i'm gonna try. I have my PB to 50 and i tried doing stuff last night but it's so slot heavy, i gota get more research about what sets i would need. The WS would be fun cause of Eclipse and the Styigian Circle...and a hold

So just this evening i was reading the foruns and then an idea hit me for my PB to make him more all around useful. For the longest time i had him as a tri-form that did very well. Then i worked on my bi-form because i wanted to use sets. Well each of those builds focused on making the human form good and then the other forms....what if i build the two forms up and use the human form for set bonuses (due to the fact that they carry over).
For instance: put sets that could say, boose defense/damage/recharge/res/tohit. Have them carry over and use the forms to their fullest potential. Be a pocket tank or even a pure damage dealer like a blaster. I'm gonna try it and respond to my post here if it turns out well.
Has anyone else taking this thought? Not sure why it took me so long to think of this.
