my graphics are bad =/

hey all i just got the game and was wondering somthin. whenever i try to play with graphics and 3d model all the way up the game lags like crazy and i have to put it all down really far so the game looks bad when i can finally play. i want the good graphics lol. i never have any of these problems with games like WoW or CoD 4 so why am i with this game?

oh and by the way i rechecked and i do have all the system reqirements is it because of the server or somthing?

when i click

Click here to download the program it doesnt do anything but i downloaded somthing else from there. if i cant get the graphics to look decent this will be a huge dissapointment cus this game just looks terrible right now without the good graphics lol

Yeah Ouch, that's about 4 generations old, may work for low settings but not for anything more.

lol yeah i know the computers old =/ but i figured itd work since every other game i have works perfectly fine =/ i guess im screwed then and i spent like 25 bucks for nothin lol oh well thanks for the help

I run a nVidia FX5200 on my server. BIG difference from the 93.71 driver to the most recent driver. Plus you're running Service Pack 2 on XP. If I can play CoH and WoW on a Pentium 3 1.2ghz with 512mb RAM and a GeForce 4 Ti 4600 with settings turned up slightly, you should be able to do a lot more with your setup. Update Windows and update your video card and audio drivers. Then try again and see how things work out.

I understand your frustration. They really need to upgrade the requirements list on current game box releases as well as on the website. But the current requirements for decent play are far beyond anything needed for WoW. And the requirements for play with settings maxed are far beyond that.

Yes indeed. I don't have a bad setup, much better than the 5 yo rig on its last leg that I was using. 2 gb ram, dual core 5200 amd and a 9600 GT 512; On 100% I run fine but jacking anything over 150% becomes a huge lag fest. At 100% I sit between 40-80 fps depending on zone and scenery. In WoW in BC I could jack everything up to max 16x, 16XQ and run with 80 frames no matter where I was.
