Log in with a mission I didn't have when I left?

I have found on several occasions that I am logging in to find I have an ae mission I didn't have when logged out, this happens on characters who log out in the room with the MA consoles.

Is this a known bug, or is it somehow a feature?

I've never seen that bug before. Are you sure nobody else has your account information? You might want to physically note down how much inf and exp you have next time you log out.

Or you could be playing in your sleep.

Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!

"didn't have when logged out" - did you complete the mission earlier? Was it someone elses mission or one of yours?

When you create your own missions and test them sometimes the autosave version and a similarly named earlier copy have to be cleared. I haven't had this extend past logging out though.

Obviously you had to do that mission as part of your Day Job, and just logged in before your character could complete it on their own.

You don't think you earn those Day Job badges for nothing, do you? There's hard work behind them!

Actually, I saw something similar happen in a group starting an arc. We'd started once t and dumped out to...don't remember now, reset diff, or something. Reformed team, and suddenly the leader couldn't pick up the arc. We discovered that somehow the MA had INSERTED one of the runarounddoingsquat tutorial mishes into her list, filling her last available slot.

There are a LOT of odd, intermittent bugs in the thing. I've been unable to select certain mishes for no immediately visible reason- get the 'accept' window, hit the button, and nothing happens. I got STUCK in an arc once- after I finished it, the rating screen did nothing, and the contact acted as if it were the first time I talked to him. Had to log out and log back in to get free of it. Etc. etc. etc.

Things to remember:
-Common sense ain't;
-Overkill is the only kill;
-If someone asks if you're a god, run away.

These were missions I had never taken or was even aware of, they just appeared in my mission list when I logged in.

The bolded part stands out to me. MA mode is functionally the same as TF mode, except for the inviting rule. As such, if all 8 people on the team had 3 missions each, the leader would still be able to take a new MA arc.

Sounds like user error to me, though having a mission added to the list without choosing to take it would be a bug.

The closest bug I've experienced was setting my search to 0-stars, unplayed, finding one that sounded interesting, and ending up in a dev choice that I had played before.

I logged in the other day on my prime and he was where I left him, BUT he was in a mission I'd never heard of, I had to quit out of it.

Happens again, I'm going to file a trace request o.@
