Download it to your desktop and run it from there. After it downloads everything else, delete the files from there and use the shortcut the install places there instead.

Besides following the link above, you can log into your NCSoft account, click on your game account, and click on the appropriate "Download Client" link for your operating system.
You can also transfer the files from your other computer onto the new laptop to make the installation process quicker.
As far as the mouse issue is concerned.. I saw reference (in patch notes) to the -compatibilecursor flag being turned on by default now. I don't know if it actually is, but I suppose you'll find out soon. lol
I just got a new laptop and wanted some help to download the game on to it. Is there a site link or do I need to use my old discs? Also I have Vista, is the mouse thing still a problem? Thank you guys for the help.
