Fixed that a bit for you, but wanted to add:
Vogon poetry was only the THIRD worst in the galaxy. And we know that the very worst poetry (made by a girl whose full name I can't remember) perished when Earth was demolished...
Therefore, Vogons coming to recite poetry to us would be MUSIC TO OUR EARS. 
hehehe.
