Is /ninja still overpowered?
wimp
You may be right. I switched to a higher level character, and it was like night and day. The ninjas did not stand a chance. It was almost pathetic. An ambush of them came at me, but with Cloak of Darkness running, I could see them and they couldn't see me. Throw spines, spine burst... dead ambush.
I guess that one's not going to be a lowbie friendly arc, but at least it isn't impossible any more.

I am using /ninja on low to give hide and reflexes to some AR "snipers", and while it provides a NICE surprise the first time you encounter it, I'm not finding them overly hard to walk up to and punch their faces in.
The only 'overpower' they had before was the Assassin-Crit multiplier on all landed attacks.
I still mopped the floor with them on anything with a perception boost... and Nin doesn't give them any Perception bonuses so they can't see cloaked characters either.
tl;dr version? Want to kill Ninjas? bring a meaner, tougher, more skilled ninja.
"City of Heroes. April 27, 2004 - August 31, 2012. Obliterated not with a weapon of mass destruction, not by an all-powerful supervillain... but by a cold-hearted and cowardly corporate suck-up."
They also used to have a mag 1000ish mez protection. Not sure if that got fixed.
And for a while things were cold,
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that once was green
Was colored black by those killing machines
My /nin minions were being slept last night, during testing. But, as I said above, all they had was Hide and Ninja Reflexes.
I was hoping the latest patch would help, but I'm still getting slaughtered by the ninjas in a mission I'm developing. Are they still overpowered, or am I just a whimp?
