I think that *might* be workable... it isn't for me to say, but it certainly has merit.
I already have a panda, though.

I couldn't help but notice that your panda has wings. Do you fly Pand-air?

He leaps, like most of my other characters with wings... The one I didn't give wings to was the porcupine girl, for the obvious reason that while one *can* imagine a bear with wings... a porcupine is not really so easy to have hovering....

My animal avatars almost all have wings - they're blessed by nature gods, and thus have aspects of many different creatures and elements. Icy Grip is an ice/ice tanker. Trickster's Jackalope is a rabbit, antelope, crow man, he doesn't fly either but then as a fire/fire tank he's never learned to control his powers, so his costumes get progressively more burnt.
Anyway, he's skinny. This is about phat.

So - as I'm sure most of us are aware, giving us a fat-male and fat-female bodytype would be a serious pain in the butt, especially given that they aren't likely to be hugely popular.
Nevertheless, sometimes these bodytypes fit the character you want to create, and would be nice to have.
I think I *may* have come up with a possible solution; so while my account remains active (taking a break soon, will be back as always), I wanted to get this put up here.
Here's the idea - rather than a whole new bodytype, why not a "fat" torso-type, similar to the Armored setting?
Admittedly it'd limit the costume options available to your heavier heroes; probably mostly tights and maybe a few of the chest covering options; but it might be doable.
You could probably include a Lower Body version as well; so you can get the whole effect right.
I'll admit, it's not liable to let you make characters who are The Blob-level chunky; but it'd work for characters who need to be more heavy-set. Especially good I think for Architect, since sometimes your main villain aught to be a politician or scientist who isn't particularly physically adept themselves, but maybe has a huge, nasty bodyguard. Well or for custom hostages who are non-super people.
I'd also like to see a bear-like (as in actual grizzly or panda bear) skin for such a torso; because of late I've really wanted to make a panda character.
What?! Pandas are awesome, superheroes are awesome = together they rule the universe! <.<; It's genius! ... I think. Either that or bad beef from last night. Either way!
Anyway, it's just an idea.
