REQ: Base Mission Architect items
It would be nice to have a console in the base.
In the meantime, consider the power that comes with the Mission Engineer Accolade

Mission Engineer - Accolade - Earn Ticket Master, Writer, Escapist, Thrill Seeker, and Customizer. Text: Your overall expertise in everything relating to the Mission Architect system has earned you the title of Mission Engineer.
Note: The Architect Mission Engineer Accolade gives the holder a macro button/power that issues the command "/architect" which brings up the MA GUI. That command works for anyone in the AE studio that contain the AE consoles wherever you are in the studio, including hovering near the ceiling. It also works anywhere in Studio B, so, you can look out the window as you interact with the mission creator.
The Accolade allows the one who has it to bring up the MA GUI anywhere in the game, and not just in the AE studios.
It appears in the Powers Window under Accolades as Architect Comlink.

True, it would be nice to have an access console in the SG Base.
In the meantime, you can go to Studio B which is much quieter since all powers are suppressed.
Also, it gets you away from the masses trying to play the missions while you are creating your own.
And, you don't have to have all the badges to get into it. Just look for the small door under the stairs to the left of the MA Contact holograms.
EDIT: Another thing to try is to go to less populated zones to access the MA. Atlas is a nightmare since that is where the initial contact is. And I'd assume that whatever zone the Villain contact is in is very over-crowded as well.
Try Faultline or Brickstown maybe. Possibly Independence Port. I've been working out of Founders Falls for a few days and it hasn't been bad, but it's getting busier. Villain side you'll have to experiment for yourself. Or just try finding whatever zone has the least people in the AE building.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Gah, as I delete my original post in a browser glitch....
Greyhawke/Texas, Studio B is the "dance" hall no one goes to? I might have to look into that if it's less laggy and more private then the other MA towers. I'm not interested in making my own mission - yet. I'm still trying to unlock all of the content so I can make story arcs that really twist the fabric of the game... it does fit into my story though. =D
I'd still like to do this from the comfort of my own VG's base though. All I really do is solo missions already built right now, and at times I duo with VG friends so giving lag to others and dealing with lag is kind of... pointless? Everything I do is out of St. Martials, so it's not bad... but I'd think it would be lighter on the servers if I had an option for a "hideout" that I could do this in.
Oh, one thing I had written before - I just got my 3 month badge. I was here for CoV launch, and recently came back 2 months ago for i14. I'm still a bit noob on a lot of whats happened, but I went from 2 ~20's to 3 30+'s on a different server. (Freedom, go figure) Pardon me if I'm not 100% sure on Studio B or any other lingo.
I really just think it would be smart to have AE parts available to bases. I've been to Mercy Island (I normally play Villian) and it's really, really bad. Even St. Martials has 30+ people normally, and I'm not too interested in grouping. The way how it is, I get more badges soloing then I can ever hope to get with a team. I'd just like to alleviate the lag issue - I'd rather not be in any zone, and my VG has the cash to throw down the pieces, regardless of the cost. Isn't this a win/win?
Not a problem. I believe Studio B is mentioned during the different Introductory AE missions, but I could be mistaken.
If you stand in an AE building looking at the Holographic Contacts and the Data Stream, edge to the left a bit so you are seeing about half Data Stream and half the wall/understairway area beside it. That thin brown door is the entrance to Studio B. Also, if you turn a bit to the left, you will see the doors to, I think, the Medical Bays where you rez if defeated in an AE mission.
Well, this is how it is on Heroes at least. I would assume the layout is the same for Heroes and Villains.
NO powers work in Studio B, and I think I've seen a maximum of 4 people in there at one time.
Maybe in the future we'll get an option to add an AE computer interface to our SG Bases, but it will likely be a while. I'm almost afraid to find out what the requirements to unlock it will be, or what Ultra Rare salvage will be needed to craft it.
And welcome back to the game.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

It would be really nice to be able to access missions and create your own from the comfort of your SG/VG base. It would also cut down on the lag in the buildings for people who want to team and take missions.
