How do I... (Noob Question Alert)
If I'm understanding this right, you want the Navigation Text to change upon reaching the boss? I don't think that's possible at this time.
Its not to bad of a question really i would say you make the boss really there and then put in the navigation saying "save XXXX" then when you get there and the boss sees you he says something like "haha i tricked you" kind of thing. I'm not sure if you can change it though sorry to say.

Can I set "Rescue Soandso" in the Nav window and later remove it based on a clue?
I've seen regular contact missions do this, like when your objective is to rescue someone and you later find out they've been moved.
Just wondering how to get the MA to do this. (Forget the Boss part then, I'll make that a separate objective.)

O this is a good idea you can make it say that there's a note saying "haha we got you" then ambush I might even use this for one of my arcs

Under the Navigation Text for the collection, put "Rescue the Captive!" (or whatever) - the clue they get from the collection can tell them the person has been moved. Then, you can set up a Boss and have "This Mission Goal is created when..." set to "Collection: Clue is completed" (or whatever you call your collection)!

How do I get something to display in the Nav window like an objective, that isn't an objective?
For example, I would like to add "Rescue Soandso" to the Nav window like an objective, but when I get to the Boss, he tells me the person I'm looking to rescue has been moved. At that point, I want to remove "Rescue Soandso" from the Nav window as an objective and replace it with "Defeat Boss".
How can I do this?
(Sorry for the noob question. This is my first arc.)
