Fan fiction worries
It could be different for everyone else, but for me it is one word at a time. When you are stuck, the best thing to do is write anyway, no matter how slowly or how bad it turns out. It will get easier and better and you can always revise.
The hardest part is starting. Every single time. After that, you will be lucky if you can keep up with yourself.
i see, and should i finish it in word then post it all up so people don't have to wait for updates, or do installments in the fourms to get valuable feedback?
I recommend installments. Easier to digest for the reader. Do it in word first of course. As soon as you post you will know exactly what you did wrong, so it gives you more time to look and edit.
You also get compliments, which I always love. They can help urge you to go on, give good advice, or give you an idea.
I see, well you're right, i got this started and ideas are coming, though it IS short but...we all start somewhere, i'll post it tommorow
I look forward to it.
Wait, is this a late night or early morning for you, hyp? The suspense is killing me...
So my personal muse has given me a inspiring kick in the jewels, and idea for a fan fiction no less, and while i think it's a good idea and all i need is some writing focus to deliver it properly; one thing always stops me from acting on these ideas: finishing them
i don't want to act on creative idea and leave it half way done, and look back on it feeling i wasted some story potential and possibly left fans hanging, so i ask this. how do the rest of you curb unfinished writing and push through the whole story idea?
